Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Match Realty LLC ("Match Realty," "we," "us") collects through this site, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: info@matchrealty.com or (248) 885-2646.

What we collect

• Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, and any property address you enter into a form on this site.
• Calculator inputs. The figures you enter into our tools — purchase price, taxable value, municipality, school district, loan terms — are submitted with your form so we can prepare the report you requested.
• Consent records. When you check a consent box we record the exact wording shown, the page, the date and time, and the IP address of the submission. We keep this to demonstrate that consent was properly obtained.
• Technical information. Your browser type and IP address, recorded with your submission.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

How we use it

• To prepare and send the report, valuation, or information you asked for.
• To contact you about buying or selling real estate in Metro Detroit.
• To keep records required by Michigan real estate licensing law and by federal telephone-consumer rules.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with unaffiliated companies for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

Your information is stored in our customer relationship management system, operated by Lofty Inc., which processes it on our behalf. Our site is hosted by Vercel Inc. We may also share information with a lender or title company when you ask us to make an introduction, and with regulators or in response to a valid legal request.

Calls, texts, and email

If you check the consent box, you agree to receive calls and text messages from Match Realty at the number you provide, including by automated dialing system or prerecorded voice. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies.

You may withdraw consent at any time, by any reasonable means — reply STOP, QUIT, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE or END to a text; use the unsubscribe link in any email; reply to any message asking us to stop; or call (248) 885-2646 or email info@matchrealty.com. We will honor your request as soon as practicable and no later than ten business days after we receive it. You do not have to use any particular word or channel.

If you do not check the consent box, we will not call or text you using automated means; we will respond to your request by email.

How long we keep it

We retain lead and transaction records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet Michigan record-retention obligations for licensed brokers. Consent records are retained for at least five years, which covers the federal limitations period for telephone-consumer claims.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@matchrealty.com. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law; tell us which state you reside in and we will apply those rights.

Security

Submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and credentials for our CRM are stored as encrypted environment variables. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies — not for advertising, not for analytics, not for anything else.

We do measure traffic using Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-preserving tool run by the company that hosts this site, so we can see which pages people actually find useful. It is cookieless. It does not store your IP address, does not build a profile of you, and cannot follow you to other websites. For each page view it records the page you viewed, the site that referred you, your country, and your browser and device type. To count returning visitors it derives a temporary identifier from a one-way hash that is rotated daily and cannot be reversed to identify you. Vercel's privacy statement for Web Analytics sets out what it does and does not collect.

The Metro Homes app

Our iOS app, Metro Homes, is covered by this policy. Browsing homes, running the calculators and reading tax data all work without an account, and nothing about you leaves your device in that mode except the anonymous requests needed to fetch listings and photos.

If you create an account with Sign in with Apple, we store the identifier Apple gives us, your name and email if you share them, and the things you save — favorite homes, saved searches, co-shopping boards and their comments, your claimed home, and your messages with our agents — so they follow you to any device. You can sign out at any time, and you can ask us to delete the account and everything in it by emailing cyrus@matchrealty.com.

Notifications. If you allow them, we store a push token for your device so we can alert you about new listings matching a saved search, price changes on homes you saved, and messages from your agent. Turning notifications off in iOS Settings stops them.

Location. The map has a control that centers it on where you are. If you allow location access, your location is used on the device to draw the map and is shared with the Google Maps SDK, which renders it. We do not store your location on our servers, and the rest of the app works without granting location.

Photos and documents. If you list a home for sale by owner, the photos you choose are uploaded so they can appear on your listing. If a seller requires proof of financing, the pre-approval letter you attach to a showing request is shared with that seller and with our brokerage. We only access the specific images you pick — never your photo library.

Owner-posted listings. For-sale-by-owner listings are submitted by property owners, reviewed by a licensed broker before they appear, and displayed separately from MLS listings. Anyone can report a listing from within the app and we will review it.

Third parties in the app. The map is rendered by the Google Maps SDK, which receives location and map-usage data while the map is open. The app contains no advertising, attribution or analytics SDKs, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

If we change this policy we will update the date above and post the revised version on this page.
